Sooty is the heart of our family of lar gibbons. This family is one of Trotters World of Animals oldest and best loved. Sooty’s dedicated husband, Brian, is dad to a lively brood of youngsters; Noël, Robin & Sally and the latest addition - baby Nobby.
Sooty & Brian are gaining in maturity now, but their playful family constantly enchant and delight visitors and staff alike with their tree top antics within the branches of their beloved oak tree.
On sunny summer days you’ll have to look hard to spot them all as they pick insects off the top most branches
