The wild boar is the second most wide spread mammal species on earth, due mainly to their ability to eek-out a living almost anywhere.

When hybridised with the domestic Tamworth pig they produce the nearest we can to the now extinct Iron Age Pig.

When born the piglets are striped and spotty allowing them to be camouflaged in thick undergrowth.

Mochyn and her sister are very friendly, unlike their wild counter parts who have a terrible reputation.

Stripy piglets can usually be seen during the summer months but you will have to search long and hard to find them concealed in their nest, which mum lovingly makes for them.

Being just like pigs our two do not have a favourite food, just food itself!
